eToro has unveiled a comprehensive platform overhaul centered on artificial intelligence integration, while IC Markets announced plans to transition to a new web domain as part of a broader rebrand. Both moves reflect how established retail brokers are evolating their technology and market positioning.
eToro launched a redesigned mobile application featuring Tori, an AI assistant that delivers portfolio updates, market signals, and price movement analysis. The AI functionality extends beyond the app to WhatsApp and Apple Watch, aiming to keep investors connected across devices. CEO Yoni Assia emphasized that the technology draws on trading data from millions of users to inform recommendations. The multi-asset platform also introduced eToro Edge, a desktop solution targeting active traders, along with agent-powered portfolios and self-custody crypto wallets developed with Zengo. The rollout includes a refreshed brand identity and expanded developer tools, positioning eToro to compete in increasingly tech-driven retail trading markets.
Meanwhile, IC Markets confirmed it will migrate from icmarkets.com to ic.com on July 11, warning clients of possible temporary service disruptions during the transition. The broker assured partners that affiliate referral links will remain functional throughout the process. Though less dramatic than eToro’s AI push, the domain change signals IC Markets’ intention to streamline its digital presence and potentially support future platform enhancements.
