Paystand has launched its agentic finance suite deploying AI “digital employees” to handle B2B accounts receivable, reporting, and spend management autonomously. The Reporting Agent and Spend Agent are now live, while the Collections Agent enters private beta with full release expected this quarter. These AI agents operate directly on Paystand’s programmable money network and ERP integrations, executing financial tasks rather than merely providing recommendations.
Unlike traditional AI copilots or dashboards, Paystand’s agents work with assigned responsibilities, defined permissions, and measurable financial outcomes. The Reporting Agent analyzes receivables and directs cash forecasting, while the Spend Agent processes employee expense requests through Slack and Teams, applying policies and posting transactions automatically. The system leverages Paystand’s network supporting both fiat and programmable digital dollars, enabling agents to analyze, execute actions, and update ERPs in single workflows.
CEO Jeremy Almond emphasized these are enterprise-grade tools built on programmable infrastructure, not AI retrofitted onto legacy payment systems.
FXnCO Insight
Finance teams should evaluate their readiness for autonomous AI execution, as this technology shift moves beyond advisory tools toward agents that directly handle cash flow operations and transaction processing.
