FinScan has entered a strategic partnership with Quantifind to integrate AI-powered adverse media screening into its anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance platform. The collaboration, announced today, combines FinScan’s established AML solutions from Innovative Systems with Quantifind’s artificial intelligence-driven risk intelligence capabilities designed for Know Your Customer procedures, sanctions monitoring, payment screening, investigations and third-party risk assessment.

The integration aims to enhance financial institutions’ ability to detect financial crime and national security threats through automated media monitoring. Banks, payment processors, and compliance teams using FinScan’s platform will gain access to Quantifind’s AI technology that scans adverse media sources to flag potential risks associated with customers and counterparties.

The partnership comes as regulatory scrutiny intensifies globally and financial institutions face mounting pressure to strengthen their compliance frameworks against money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions violations. Organizations relying on legacy screening systems may need to evaluate their current capabilities against emerging AI-enhanced solutions.

FXnCO Insight

Compliance teams should assess whether their current adverse media screening tools can match AI-powered detection speeds as regulators increasingly expect real-time risk identification.
