Capitolis has hired Murugan Manickam as Chief Technology Officer, bringing aboard a 17-year Bank of America veteran to lead the fintech’s global engineering and AI strategy. Manickam most recently served as Managing Director and Global Head of FICC Macro Trade Management and Emerging Markets Technology at Bank of America, where he oversaw technology across FX, fixed income, credit, rates, and emerging markets. The appointment brings senior buy-side technology expertise directly into a fintech serving over 100 financial institutions.
Manickam will report to President Okan Pekin and drive technology execution supporting Capitolis’ growth in portfolio optimization across FX, rates, and credit markets. The company offers infrastructure designed to reduce capital, funding, and operational costs for banks and institutional investors. Amos Arev, who led engineering for seven years, remains as Executive Vice President overseeing engineering and Israel operations, creating dual senior technology leadership.
