Binance has launched options trading on over 1,000 US stocks and ETFs for non-US users, marking another significant expansion beyond its cryptocurrency origins. The new product, available through Binance’s Abu Dhabi entity Nest Trading Limited in partnership with US-registered broker-dealer Alpaca Securities, allows eligible international clients to access equity options from their existing Binance accounts alongside crypto, stocks, ETFs, and tokenized securities.
The move comes as Binance reports explosive growth in traditional finance products, with TradFi perpetual futures volume hitting approximately $433.4 billion in August 2026, fifteen times higher than January levels. Alpaca Securities will handle execution, clearing, settlement, and custody for the options trades. Trading is available during regular US market hours, with exercised options resulting in actual share delivery held by Alpaca on behalf of users.
The expansion reflects the broader industry shift toward super apps offering multi-asset exposure within single platforms, particularly targeting emerging market traders.
