Ripple has launched a Delta One business within its Ripple Prime multi-asset brokerage platform, now offering Total Return Swaps on US equities, indices and digital assets to institutional clients. The service is already operational and targets hedge funds, asset managers and other financial institutions seeking cross-asset exposure through a single counterparty.

The expansion builds on Ripple’s recent infrastructure push, including a $275 million private placement completed this month and integration with regulated US marketplace EDX Markets. The Delta One offering adds equity derivatives to Ripple Prime’s existing capabilities across FX, fixed income, derivatives and digital assets, with 24/7 access and cross-margining functionality.

Ripple Prime President Noel Kimmel emphasized the platform’s conflict-free execution model, operating purely in clearing and financing without proprietary trading. The firm reports over $1 billion in regulatory net capital and secured a $200 million debt facility from Neuberger Specialty Finance earlier this year.

Ripple’s move into equity derivatives signals growing institutional demand for unified crypto and traditional asset access, potentially pressuring legacy prime brokers to accelerate digital asset integration.
