Edge has partnered with identity verification platform Socure to combat artificial intelligence-driven fraud schemes targeting lenders and rental screening providers. The cashflow bureau, which converts bank transaction data into machine learning scores for credit decisions, will integrate Socure’s AI-native trust infrastructure to enhance fraud detection capabilities.

The collaboration comes as fraudsters increasingly deploy sophisticated AI tools to manipulate financial data and create synthetic identities. Edge clients, including lenders and property managers relying on bank transaction analysis for underwriting decisions, will now benefit from real-time identity intelligence designed to flag fraudulent applications before approval. The integration aims to reduce false positives while catching emerging fraud patterns that traditional screening methods miss.

The partnership addresses mounting concerns across consumer finance as AI-generated deepfakes and document forgery become more prevalent. Financial institutions using automated underwriting systems face heightened exposure to fraud losses.
