XTB has launched spot cryptocurrency trading in Chile, marking the Warsaw-listed broker’s first non-European market for the new product offering. The service went live with 46 digital assets available for trading 24/7, with a minimum transaction value of just $2 for Chilean clients. This follows XTB’s AI-powered analytical chat debut in the same market two weeks earlier, confirming Chile as the company’s strategic testing ground for new products.

The broker secured its first Latin American regulatory approval from Chile’s Financial Market Commission in February 2025, providing a controlled environment to test technology and gauge demand before broader deployment. CEO Omar Arnaout confirmed plans to expand spot crypto to European markets in coming months. Previously, XTB clients could only access crypto exposure through CFDs or ETNs.

The move aligns with XTB’s strategy to build a European investment super app, expanding beyond CFDs into stocks, ETFs, and digital wallets, particularly targeting younger investors where crypto adoption reaches 31.4% among 18-25 year-olds.
