Alpaca has launched German equities trading through Deutsche Börse Xetra, giving its broker partners access to Europe’s largest stock market. The rollout represents the first phase of a multi-region expansion plan announced following Alpaca’s April acquisition of UK-based WealthKernel, now rebranded as Alpaca Europe.
Broker partners can now trade hundreds of German-listed companies including SAP, Siemens, Allianz, BMW, and Deutsche Bank across technology, manufacturing, financial services, and healthcare sectors. Additional markets scheduled for launch in coming months include Hong Kong Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange, Saudi Exchange, Euronext Paris, and Korea Exchange.
Alpaca also plans to support tokenized German equities using its existing brokerage infrastructure that currently handles tokenized equity offerings. The platform targets financial institutions, fintech companies, digital asset platforms, and embedded investing providers seeking international market access.
FXnCO Insight
Fintech platforms and broker-dealers should evaluate Alpaca’s infrastructure immediately to capitalize on growing client demand for European equity exposure before competing solutions saturate the market.
