Wealthtech firm Objectway has acquired FNZ Switzerland SA, the Swiss private banking technology division of FNZ Group, in a deal announced today. The acquired business previously operated under the name New Access before FNZ’s ownership. The transaction strengthens Objectway’s position in the Swiss wealth management technology sector, giving the company expanded capabilities to serve banking, wealth, and asset management clients in one of the world’s most important private banking markets.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The deal comes as consolidation continues across the wealthtech sector, with providers seeking scale and expanded geographic reach to compete for institutional clients. Switzerland remains a critical hub for private banking services, making technology infrastructure in the market highly valuable. FNZ’s decision to divest the Swiss operation suggests a strategic refocusing of their business priorities, while Objectway gains immediate market presence and an established client base in the region.

Wealthtech providers should monitor whether this signals broader portfolio rationalization at FNZ and potential for additional acquisition opportunities in European banking technology markets.
