iFOREX has appointed Daniel Shalom as Chief Operating Officer, installing a technology and data veteran to run daily operations at the CFD broker. Shalom assumes immediate responsibility for business operations, customer experience, product and technology as the company pushes to scale growth and embed AI across its client lifecycle. He arrives from Yad Vashem where he served as CIO, overseeing a technology transformation including a six-petabyte data and cloud environment. Previously, Shalom spent eight years at Amdocs, rising to VP of data and AI and managing a 500-person team.

The hire follows iFOREX’s pattern of senior appointments since its troubled February London IPO, which raised just £8.75 million at a £43.3 million valuation after an eight-month delay. Trading in the stock dried up almost immediately post-listing. The move reflects a broader industry trend of elevating AI and data talent to leadership positions, with rivals like Equiti and Trading 212 making similar strategic hires in recent months.
