HFM has appointed Jean Nahas as Head of Category for the UAE to lead its newly licensed Dubai office, marking another expansion move for the multi-asset broker in the Middle East. Nahas brings extensive industry experience, having recently served as Group COO at Zarvista Capital Markets and previously held senior roles at BUX as Managing Director for Cyprus, plus COO at Finteractive and CEO at IMS Markets.
His mandate covers driving business growth, maintaining regulatory compliance, and strengthening HFM’s regional footprint as competition intensifies among brokers establishing regulated entities in Dubai’s flourishing financial hub. The appointment follows other recent leadership changes at HFM, including Georgios Papassavas becoming CEO earlier this year and Mohammed Essosse joining as Head of Business Development for North Africa.
The hiring reflects continued broker migration toward UAE jurisdictions as firms seek regulated access to Middle Eastern and broader international markets.
