Australian forex and CFD broker Blueberry has appointed Jeffrey Navarro as Head of Latin America, marking its second senior LATAM hire in approximately two months as the firm accelerates its push into one of retail trading’s most competitive regional markets. Navarro joins from AvaTrade where he ran LATAM operations, and brings nearly two decades of experience including senior regional roles at FXCM, Tickmill, Taurex and Axi. He starts in May based in Colombia, working alongside Mario Saudino who joined as LATAM Regional Manager in March from STARTRADER.

The dual appointments signal Blueberry is building a layered regional team rather than a single-executive operation, reflecting the intensity of competition in Latin America where success depends on local payment infrastructure, introducing-broker networks and Spanish-language capabilities. Both hires come from brokers actively competing in the same territory, underscoring the region’s strategic importance despite Blueberry entering later than established rivals.
