XTB has launched an AI-powered analytical chat assistant within its mobile trading app in Chile today, Monday, marking the first live deployment of the tool. The feature integrates market data from LSEG and Reuters to provide round-the-clock responses to investor queries, personalized portfolio analysis, and asset comparison capabilities tailored to individual user profiles. Chile serves as the testing ground for a phased international rollout targeting non-European markets first, with no timeline yet announced for expansion into XTB’s home market of Poland.
The launch intensifies competition among retail brokers racing to embed AI functionality directly into trading platforms. Unlike some rivals, XTB’s assistant functions strictly as a research tool and does not execute trades automatically. The broker already processes nearly 100,000 AI-managed client inquiries monthly through a separate customer service chatbot deployed in late 2024, and established a dedicated AI division in 2023 under robotics researcher Tomasz Gawron.

Brokers without integrated AI research tools face mounting pressure to deploy similar capabilities or risk losing market share to platforms offering data-driven, personalized trading intelligence.
