iFOREX has slashed its earnings outlook following a dramatic income collapse in July, while regulatory uncertainty surrounds liability for AI-driven trading errors. The broker sector faces mounting questions over who bears responsibility when autonomous trading systems malfunction. Robinhood currently places accountability on customers for their AI agents’ actions, though legal experts anticipate stricter broker obligations as the technology matures. Over fifty thousand customers have already opened agentic trading accounts on Robinhood, executing millions daily in equities and options.
Meanwhile, Scope Markets rolled out Scope Copy for MetaTrader 5, enabling both copy trading and inverse strategies through PLUGIT’s YOONIT platform. The service launched with over one hundred thirty strategy providers after beta testing surpassed five hundred thousand replicated trades. Performance fees range from ten to fifty percent using high-water mark structures. The inverse feature allows traders to automatically take opposite positions from selected strategies.

Brokers offering AI trading tools should immediately review liability frameworks and implement circuit breakers before regulatory enforcement catches up with technological deployment.
