VIDA Markets has appointed Michael Chen as Head of APAC, marking a strategic push into Asia-Pacific and MENA markets for the FX and CFD broker. Chen, who brings approximately 20 years of industry experience across China, APAC and MENA regions, will focus on team building, regional presence expansion, and cultivating relationships with introducing brokers, affiliates and institutional partners. The appointment was announced via LinkedIn.

Chen previously held senior positions at AUS Global, handling marketing, business development and management. His experience spans multiple brokerages including MCC Markets, GMI Edge, Admiral Markets and others, with particular focus on sales and client relations across APAC and MENA. The move follows earlier recruitment signals from VIDA Markets, which advertised for an APAC and MENA marketing manager targeting Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Middle Eastern markets. The broker has not disclosed specific country targets, revenue goals or headcount figures accompanying this appointment.

FXnCO Insight

VIDA Markets’ formal APAC leadership hire signals intensifying competition for market share in Asia-Pacific retail FX, particularly as brokers position for growth in underbanked Southeast Asian and MENA corridors.
