United Fintech announced three new partners on Tuesday, expanding its internal ownership group to six members while establishing a four-person leadership team. The London-based fintech acquirer promoted Guy Hopkins from FairXchange, Darren Coote from Cobalt, and Rasmus Bagger from NetDania, all companies previously acquired by United Fintech. The new structure grants founders equity in the parent company rather than just their sold businesses.

The leadership team comprises CEO Christian Frahm, Bagger as chief commercial officer, Marc Levin as chief operating officer, and Hopkins as chief product officer. Notably, partners Tom Robinson and Coote do not hold leadership positions. The arrangement also raises questions about previously announced roles, including the chief technology officer and chief financial officer positions from March 2024, which were not mentioned in Tuesday’s release.

United Fintech has acquired at least six firms since November 2020, using this partnership model to retain key engineering talent and leadership from acquired companies. Equity distribution details remain undisclosed.
