Prospect Markets has secured dual US regulatory approvals to operate prediction-market services through separate retail and institutional pathways. Prospect Brokerage USA registered Thursday as an introducing broker with the National Futures Association and Commodity Futures Trading Commission, while affiliate Prospect Trading USA gained direct exchange membership at CFTC-regulated Crypto.com Derivatives North America on Monday.
The retail arm operates as a guaranteed introducing broker under Foris DAX FCM, mirroring the compliance structure recently adopted by US proprietary trading firms. Prospect Brokerage will introduce US retail customers to fully collateralized event contracts, primarily sports-focused, but will not carry customer accounts itself. The institutional subsidiary gained direct CDNA exchange access to support professional trading operations. Both entities rely on Crypto.com infrastructure for exchange, clearing and custody functions, following Crypto.com’s spin-out of its prediction-market platform this year.
FXnCO Insight
Prediction markets are rapidly adopting the introducing broker model to enter US retail markets while minimizing regulatory burden, creating new distribution channels for event-contract trading alongside traditional derivatives.
