NinjaTrader has terminated its partnership with UK-based prop firm Alpha Futures after three months of failed negotiations, effective immediately. The breakdown centers on Alpha’s launch of its proprietary AlphaTrader platform, which NinjaTrader viewed as direct competition, raising concerns about impartial promotion of its backend services on Alpha’s website. Alpha confirmed NinjaTrader initiated the split, forcing closure of all Premium Plan accounts that relied on NinjaTrader’s API infrastructure. Affected traders received full refunds as AlphaTrader lacks full compatibility to replace the service.

Rival prop firms have moved aggressively to capture displaced traders. MyFunded Futures pledged three hundred thousand dollars to support impacted traders, while competitors are offering free accounts. However, with industry failure rates exceeding ninety-three percent for funded payouts, these rescue initiatives function primarily as customer acquisition tools rather than genuine support, funneling traders toward paid challenge programs once onboarded.

Traders using Alpha Futures Premium Plan should immediately evaluate alternative platform providers or migrate to rival prop firms offering transition support before promotional windows close.
