Leverate has integrated direct cryptocurrency deposits into its Payment Gateway through a partnership with Dubai-based CipherBC, the companies announced Tuesday. The integration enables brokers to accept digital asset funding alongside traditional fiat payment methods including cards, bank transfers and e-wallets through a unified interface. Brokers retain control through configurable approval rules and thresholds managed via CipherBC’s RAFP+ governance system, which employs multi-party computation to split transaction authorization so no single private key controls the process.
The announcement positions the service as allowing brokers to “accept crypto deposits without turning into a crypto company,” according to Leverate’s Yossi Tamir. However, critical implementation details remain unclear. Leverate has not disclosed which brokers are currently using the service, supported assets and networks, custody arrangements, or whether withdrawal functionality is included. This follows similar integrations by competitors, including Spotware’s August 2021 cTrader crypto deposit feature and Match-Trade Technologies’ November 2023 CRM integration with Broctagon.
