**Hola Prime Adopts cTrader as Prop Trading Platform Race Heats Up**
Hola Prime has partnered with Spotware Systems to offer cTrader to its funded traders, the firms announced Tuesday. The prop firm is positioning the move as a transparency play, with cTrader’s third-party hosting meant to eliminate server-side manipulation risks and provide traders with detailed trade receipts and built-in safeguards.
The deal reflects Hola Prime’s year-long brand push around transparency, including a Deloitte payout review and public withdrawal demonstrations in a sector plagued by payout disputes. For Spotware, the partnership adds another prop client to a roster exceeding 300 brokers and prop firms serving over 11 million traders.
The platform battle intensified after MetaQuotes restricted prop access to MetaTrader in February 2024, pushing firms toward alternatives like cTrader, DXTrade, and Match-Trader. Match-Trade Technologies claims 160 new clients in 2025 alone with 1.8 million registered accounts. Hola Prime’s cTrader integration also brings AI trading capabilities through Model Context Protocol servers.

** Prop firms are weaponizing platform choice as a trust signal—traders should evaluate whether third-party hosting truly reduces operational risk or simply shifts it.
