Gold-i launched advanced portfolio risk analytics for Visual Edge on Tuesday, targeting regulated brokers navigating volatile market conditions. The UK technology provider added historical Value at Risk, Conditional Value at Risk, Monte Carlo simulations, stress testing, and negative balance protection analysis to its broker-facing risk platform. Chief executive Tom Higgins emphasised that brokers need tools to predict exposure during tail events, not just monitor current positions.

The move intensifies competition in broker risk technology. Centroid Solutions has been aggressively integrating its analytics across platforms including Match-Trader and DXtrade, while oneZero embeds risk monitoring in its Hub alongside execution tools. Gold-i approaches from the liquidity side, leveraging its MatrixNET aggregation platform which recently expanded into digital assets with integrations including Crypto.com and Derive.xyz. The risk analytics rollout allows Gold-i to deepen relationships with existing broker clients rather than chase new accounts.

** Brokers evaluating risk systems should prioritise vendors offering integrated liquidity and analytics to avoid fragmented technology stacks during high-volatility periods.
