Equiti has significantly upgraded its sponsorship of Abu Dhabi football club Al Wahda FC for the 2026/27 season, moving from sleeve placement to front-of-shirt positioning alongside property developer Lead Development. The expanded deal, building on Equiti’s initial 2024 partnership, includes pitch-side LED advertising, stadium branding, and exclusive training kit placement across first team and academy squads.
The timing capitalizes on Al Wahda’s strong media performance during their recent ADIB Cup victory, with the club reporting 70.1 million television viewers and 194.5 million cumulative social media impressions. Coverage spans major UAE competitions including the ADNOC Pro League and UAE President’s Cup. The agreement also extends Equiti’s corporate tournament into a third edition, following February 2026’s event featuring eight institutional teams.
The move represents Equiti’s deepening regional marketing push, following its 2025 naming rights deal for Dubai’s Youth Football League and recent Bangalore technology hub opening.
