Australian broker Eightcap launched its simulated trading challenges on TradingView Thursday, enabling eligible clients to run the firm’s evaluation program directly within the popular charting platform. The Melbourne-based broker is also offering qualifying connected accounts a complimentary TradingView Plus subscription with monthly renewals for those who meet criteria.

This positions Eightcap within an increasingly competitive space where funded-trader firms are racing to embed evaluations inside TradingView’s interface, which serves over 100 million users. FTMO already routes challenge trades through TradingView via OANDA, the retail broker it acquired. Other firms use platforms like TradeLocker and Match-Trader that embed TradingView’s charting engine.

Eightcap’s approach is distinct because it functions as both broker and challenge operator simultaneously, eliminating the need for a middleman partner. The firm severed ties with third-party prop firms in early 2024 during MetaQuotes’ industry crackdown, then relaunched its own Day Trader Challenges in November on proprietary infrastructure.
