Dukascopy Bank has launched a dedicated Stock Trading Platform providing access to over 25,000 long-only stock and ETF CFDs, significantly expanding its equity offering beyond the 1,500 instruments available on its existing JForex platform. The Swiss bank simultaneously upgraded MetaTrader 5 capabilities, expanding available instruments from 100 to over 400, including metals, FX crosses, and crypto CFDs.
The new platform operates separately from Dukascopy’s current multi-platform ecosystem and is accessible through JForex4 Desktop. Key differences include expanded market coverage from 18 to 20 exchanges with plans to reach 87, though the platform supports long positions only with 1:1 leverage, unlike JForex’s long-short capability. Automation features are not available on the new platform, but exposure limits have been removed. Funding requires routing through a JForex sub-account.
The expansion follows recent product additions across Dukascopy’s platforms as the broker intensifies its multi-asset strategy.
FXnCO Insight
Traders seeking diversified equity exposure with zero leverage should evaluate Dukascopy’s expanded offering, though active short-sellers and algorithmic traders will find existing platforms better suited to their strategies.
