CSI has acquired fintech firm Qolo to bolster its commercial banking and embedded finance offerings, the companies announced today. The deal brings Qolo’s modern treasury solutions and payments infrastructure under CSI’s extensive financial technology portfolio, positioning the combined entity to better serve commercial banking clients and embedded finance providers.

Qolo specializes in treasury management and payment rails that enable businesses to manage cash flow and execute transactions more efficiently. The acquisition strengthens CSI’s ability to compete in the rapidly growing embedded finance sector, where non-financial companies integrate banking services directly into their platforms. Financial institutions using CSI’s software will gain access to more sophisticated treasury and payment capabilities, while Qolo’s existing clients benefit from CSI’s broader distribution network and established banking relationships.

The transaction comes as demand for integrated financial services continues accelerating across industries. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and neither company provided a timeline for integration of Qolo’s technology into CSI’s platform.

Banks and fintechs leveraging CSI infrastructure should evaluate how Qolo’s treasury capabilities could enhance their commercial product roadmaps and embedded finance strategies.
