Crypto exchange MEXC reported 7.1 billion USDT in trading volume for SpaceX perpetual futures following the June 12 listing, according to the platform’s unaudited second-quarter results released Tuesday. The exchange offered SpaceX exposure across the entire lifecycle, running two pre-listing subscription rounds that collected over 173 million USDT from more than 74,000 participants before launching futures and tokenized products. MEXC’s RealStocks service, which launched June 1 and routes orders through an unnamed licensed broker partner, attracted 120,000 sign-ups with 52 percent funding accounts in the first month. The move mirrors simultaneous expansion by major competitors, with Binance opening access to 7,000 US stocks through Nest Trading and Alpaca on the same day, while Kraken’s xStocks tokenized platform surpassed 25 billion dollars in eight months. Micron earnings drove MU futures volume up 142 percent in one day, demonstrating demand for equity products on crypto platforms.
