BitMart US is launching CFTC-regulated prediction markets through a new partnership with infrastructure provider Plaee, expanding beyond traditional crypto trading into event-based contracts. The platform will enable US customers to trade on outcomes of real-world events spanning finance, economics, sports, and short-term digital asset price movements. Under the arrangement, BitMart US serves as the distribution layer while Plaee supplies the underlying technology including a white-label interface called Prediction Trader, CFTC-regulated event contracts, and liquidity support. The move reflects a broader industry shift toward infrastructure-led models where exchanges integrate third-party providers rather than building proprietary systems. BitMart US operates as a regulated platform across all fifty states with compliance-focused services for retail and institutional clients. COO Daniel Huang emphasized the initiative aims to lower barriers for everyday investors, while Plaee CEO Leon Okun highlighted access to what he called the fastest growing asset class under regulated conditions.
