Former eToro Head of Regtech Anver Yoffe has launched an AI-driven compliance startup targeting a critical gap in financial services regulation. After over a decade managing regulatory technology at firms including eToro and Cappitech, Yoffe identified two systemic failures plaguing financial institutions: fragmented compliance operations across departments and runaway costs from defensive over-compliance.
The problem stems from modern regulatory frameworks like MiFID II, which span thousands of pages yet contain subjective language requiring “adequate” arrangements and “appropriate” fees. This ambiguity forces firms to continuously add software, consultants, and manual checks without achieving operational certainty. Different departments—CISOs handling DORA, CCOs tracking cross-border tax, compliance officers operationalizing conduct rules—operate in silos using disparate tools and policies.
Yoffe’s solution aims to consolidate all regulatory obligations into one AI-powered interface, promising firms absolute certainty they’re fully covered rather than the current expensive guesswork.

Regulated financial firms should monitor this development closely as AI-driven compliance consolidation could significantly reduce operational costs while improving regulatory coverage certainty.
