African payments giant Interswitch Group has partnered with Swiss banking software leader Temenos to adopt core banking technology aimed at expanding digital financial services across the continent. The collaboration announced today will see Interswitch integrate Temenos platforms to enhance its digital banking capabilities and support growth across Africa’s rapidly evolving fintech landscape.

Interswitch, which operates one of Africa’s largest payment processing networks, will leverage Temenos technology to modernize its infrastructure and reach underserved markets.
